Brian began selling insurance for his father when he was in college. He comes from an insurance family, his father and two brothers are also in the insurance industry. Brian joined Harrison Agency in 1988 as a personal lines producer and is now the president of the agency. He obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1992.

Brian has been heavily involved in Missouri Insurance Agents Association and is a past president and current state national director for Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. He was named Insurance Person of the Year for the state of Missouri on July 20, 2017. Brian and the agency have been members of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce for years.

His other interests include the Boy Scouts, where he has served as a scoutmaster for several years. He has two sons who attained the rank of eagle scout. Brian is a graduate of the University of Missouri and an avid fan of the Tiger’s football and basketball teams.
